In a partnership with the Walker Family since the 1930's, the Buerge Family, led by Maurice Buerge, acquired full ownership of the dealership in 1982. Today, the Buerge Motor Car Company, headed by Maurice's son, John, and John's son, Jim, remains family-owned and operated, including the original Ford franchise, along with Chrysler-Plymouth/Jeep.
